My Favorite Law School Case to Date

Whitehouse v. RBC Dominion Securities [2006] A.J. No. 667 (Q.B.).

An investment banker brings a prostitute into his office late one night. He then refuses to pay her the full amount because she didn't perform the "full services". In his drunken state, left her in the office to wander and he left the building. The prostitute leaves a message with the night time security, but eventually finds her way out. The next day, she comes into office demanding the rest of payment. When the employer asks the employee if he brought the prostitute in, he says no. Then management told him they have videotape, and then he says yes. Employer terminates employee without notice and now employee says he should have gotten a warning for the behavior.
