Today we visit a French perfumery before arriving in Italy to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. We travel past the vineyards and olive groves of Tuscany to the most spectacular of Renaissance cities, Florence.

Went to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, where Ryan had the cheesiest souvenir contest. Drew won with boxers that the Leaning Tower of Pisa covered in a condom and it said "Protect Your Monument".  For dinner that night, we had garlic bread, pasta with ground beef and a strawberry custard with a dusting of cocoa.  After, we went to the Red Garter Pub where there were other Contiki groups.  There was karaoke, Ryan performed "Summer of '69" with another tour manager and included the cheesy dialogue from "Never Been to Nice", Our tour was cheering his nickname "Ryno", which I think made him feel like a rock star. Adriano performed, "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi and Brent performed "Angels" by Robbie Williams, Che and Kia performed "I Want to Dance with Somebody" by Whitney Houston and we all danced the Macarena.

Auto Park Hotel Florence (Italy)

Worst hotel ever. It was surrounded by a fence with barbed wire. Quentin yelled, "I'm innocent" as we drove on in. Ryan had warned us about the size of Florentine showers or the lack thereof. He said, "Don't drop the soap. If you drop the soap, you will have open the shower door in order to bend down," and it was really that small. When we arrived, our wing had no power so we had to navigate using our cell phones and cameras with flash until somebody went down to the front desk to complain. Then, they switched the power for us. It was the worst room because my room was so small, the bed was placed at a diagonal. The fitted sheet had a dodgy brown stain on it, which I promptly took off. How this hotel gets 3 stars is beyond me.
