Unsolicited Advice

Take Bankruptcy for CPLED.

Are there actually Alberta 2Ls or 3Ls reading this? Leave an anonymous comment. Sometimes, I feel like this advice doesn't really affect anybody.

Anonymous Reader is reading and learning
I'm not your target demographic (i.e. a mature 1L-to-be, not a 2L or 3L) but I've been coming back to your blog over a period of months. I've been looking around at various Canadian and US law blogs and it's nice to see a Canadian law blog that's actually fun. Your Canadian "competitors" seem rather boring and earnest.

I'm very interested in your take on surviving UofA law school and particularly in your recommendations on course selection.

I'm also more than a little curious about how you manage to update your blog while taking courses. Or is the blog a nice diversion?

Unfortunately, your fashion commentary is utterly lost on me. But overall, I dig reading your blog.

As turns out, I think that post is the first one I read here as I was casting about for information on how to get a leg up prior to starting classes.

By the way, *do* you find blogging a drain on your time? I'm thinking of starting up a blog once I go back to school but I'm concerned about the time suck (and about hitting a massive writer's block after two posts).

No, I don't find blogging a time suck. In law school, I complained about everything in this blog. Plus when you're law school, there's always wireless, so you are always on the internet.
